Assigning Process

We assign each appraisal to the appraiser who is most qualified for the particular property, rather than a simple random rotation or automated assigning process.

Factors we take into consideration include:

  • Who lives near the property?
  • Who has appraised the property for us before?
  • Who has demonstrated competency in appraising similar properties in the subject’s area.
  • Who is approved by the lender/investor?
  • Who has other current assignments of similar properties near the subject?
  • Who has recently appraised similar properties near the subject property?
